Miracle do happen! Yesterday my aunt [ mum's sister ] and my little brother, Derek planned to go to Bintulu last friday by car which actually they did. They left Miri at around 5 in the evening but my parents insisted my aunt to go the following day which is yesterday but NO, my aunt wanted to go on friday. At approximately almost 7 p.m, my aunt was driving down the hill and she was speeding. While she was driving, she wanted to adjust her seat and as a result, she lost control of her steering wheel and their car overturned 3 times. Derek was in the the front seat. We were not informed about the incident immediately cuz my aunt was too panic and she told Derek not to tell my parents first. So their car landed up in the big monsoon drain and THANK GOD, both of them are safe! So my aunt called a close friends of ours, Ahong, since he's major in cars and everything. Ahong rushed to the scene with his friend that was driving the towing car. My family & I had no idea about this at all. So my aunt's car was towed back to Miri. During that incident, my parents & I were having dinner at Ming Cafe. Halfway eating, I was suddenly thinking about my aunt & Derek cuz my aunt is not an experienced long-distance driver. So I got really worried & texted Derek asking where he was. He replied saying they were at the airport. I got confused by the text message he sent & I replied asking what in the world were they doing at the airport. My mum then called Derek's cell & he answered saying they're on the way back to Miri but he didn't mention anything about the car accident as requested by my aunt. At around 11p.m last night, as I was about to go to bed, my mum suddenly came up to me telling me she received a phone call from my aunt regarding the car accident. So we went to my aunt's place at Pujut area to make sure they were fine. When my mum told me about this, I was literally stoned like a statue. My instict was right! So my parents & I rushed to my aunt's place. We were finally informed about this incident. Wtf? We were informed 5 hours later? -__-" I'm glad both of them are okay though. Derek is completely fine & he's not injured at all. As for my aunt, she got bruises all over her body. Pity her but as long as she's doing fine, so it should be okay.       PHEW! THANK GOD THEY'RE SAFE!!!! MIRACLE DO HAPPEN HUH! |
